S07E14 Into the Murdering Mind
A family is brutally slain in their residence, and the prime suspect is their own son and brother. He suffers from schizophrenia and attributes his actions to an alter ego he calls 'The Beast,' which he claims takes control when he neglects his medication. After a conversation with the district attorney, Quincy begins to suspect that the young man might be fabricating this story to escape punishment through an insanity defense, prompting him to investigate further to validate his suspicions.
