S03E19 Shrink to Fit
Khadijah takes on a second job as a night security guard at a nursing home to fund improvements for her magazine, Flavor, which is struggling against a rival publication, Savor. Complicating matters, she finds out that Scooter is seeing someone else, leading to insomnia and erratic behavior. Following her mother’s suggestion, she visits psychiatrist Dr. Bryce, showing up in a wig to avoid judgment from her friends. Dr. Bryce points out her tendency to prioritize others over herself and suggests she may be experiencing mild depression. Despite Savor’s poor performance, Khadijah's spirits remain low as she reflects on her sacrifices for Flavor. She agrees to keep seeing Dr. Bryce, who advises her to take a week off to recharge.
