S06E05 Medieval Plympton - Plympton, Devon

In the 12th century, many towns were meticulously planned with regular layouts. The residents of Plympton are convinced they can uncover the design of the medieval town that once surrounded their castle, previously owned by the influential de Redvers family. As always, Time Team has just three days to investigate. Instead of focusing on facades that have likely changed over the centuries, they’ll delve into backyards and interiors for clues. To aid in their quest, they enlist the support of local homeowners and collaborate with Plymouth's city archaeologist, Keith Ray, and dendrochronologist Robert Howard.
