The discovery of a young woman's body by two children near a dumpster prompts detectives Barek and Logan to delve into her recent history. It turns out she had just come back from Guatemala, where fellow travelers suspected her of being involved in drug trafficking. As they dig deeper, their inquiry leads them to the renowned plastic surgeon, Dr. Christine Ensel. Known for offering affordable surgeries in Guatemala, she initially seems like a benefactor. However, as Barek and Logan investigate further, they begin to suspect that Dr. Ensel may be concealing dark secrets.
