S01E21 Darrow for the Defense

Lambert finally catches a break on Sambhi's whereabouts through one of his associates, just as a 22nd-century lawyer, Laura Darrow, arrives at his door. Lambert is not pleased, remembering how she has previously secured the release of many of his inmates. However, with Sambhi slipping through his fingers again, Lambert reluctantly teams up with her to track down her recently freed client. Utilizing SELMA, they have a tight deadline of 24 hours to resolve the situation. As they work together, Lambert and Darrow engage in banter, revealing a past romance that rekindles their connection. However, just as time runs out and they prepare to meet her client, the plastic surgeon reaches out to Sambhi for help. Their reunion takes a dark turn when Sambhi captures them, locking them in straightjackets in a cell.
