Jonesy stands by Donna despite his ex-boyfriend Theo's claims that she’s hiding her true nature. As their relationship deepens, Donna moves in with him. Only Susie remains wary of Donna, and her suspicions grow when Jonesy's room is vandalized. He arrests Theo, whom Amy recognizes from her time in Melbourne; he has a history of assault related to a drug dealer. Tom sides with Amy, denying Donna police protection due to her potential involvement. Frustrated, Jonesy pleads with his colleagues before storming out to protect Donna himself. The team starts to question their actions, but Tom remains obstinate—if Jonesy doesn’t return, he risks losing his job.
