S01E03 Tanegashi Accel Impact!

Kaito and Akiho accompany their teacher, Mitsuhiko Nagafukada, to the location of the Robo-One tournament, despite lacking a hotel reservation. While Kaito practices with his robot, he suddenly feels an odd sensation. The tournament kicks off, and Kaito cleverly navigates through the preliminaries to reach the finals. Just before the final match, Akiho worries about Kaito, who hasn't had much rest leading up to the event. The final showdown is against the current champion, Mr. Pleiades, whose robot boasts some impressive abilities. Though Kaito’s robot is at a disadvantage, he experiences a strange reversal of Akiho's condition, allowing him to slow down time and launch a counterattack, resulting in both robots being knocked out, which unfortunately means Kaito loses. Back home, Kaito unexpectedly crosses paths with Frau Koujirou, the creator of Kill Ballad.
