Roadkill
S04E10 Rear-Engine Mini-Truck Madness!
Freiburger and Finnegan head to Santa Rosa, California, to take on the challenge of driving a unique '74 Mazda REPU mini-truck back to Southern California. Their ultimate goal is to compete in Optima's Search for the Ultimate Street Car Challenge. Originally equipped with a rotary engine, this quirky truck was modified in the late '80s to feature an Olds Toronado front-wheel-drive setup, complete with a 455ci big-block and a '69 Toronado transaxle nestled between the rear frame rails. The seller boasted about its ability to perform wheelies and achieve 10-second quarter-mile times, but the duo soon realizes their $5,000 mini-truck may have more flair than performance. Will they be able to keep up with the competition?
