A Different World
S04E17 Ms. Understanding
In his final year, Shazza Zulu publishes a book critiquing the sexist attitudes of men at Hillman, which sparks outrage among female students who decide to boycott all males. The men retaliate with their own boycott, causing tension on campus. Dwayne and Whitley face backlash for not joining either side, and Whitley’s friends suspect Dwayne of being unfaithful with his female students. After a chaotic food fight at the campus theater, Dean Hughes organizes a meeting to resolve the conflict. Shazza finds himself ostracized when he accuses Kim of betraying her race by dating a white man, leading to a heated confrontation. Meanwhile, Ron reveals his earlier jealousy to Kim and expresses regret for his comments.
